Matching Gifts – Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any or specific types of charitable contributions made by their employees. To find out if your company has a matching gift policy, please contact your employer’s Human Resources department.

If your employer provides matching gifts, you will benefit twice as many students through your gift to the GHRoW Foundation.

Vehicles – Giving your unwanted vehicle to benefit SVA students is easy and there is no cost to you! GHRoW has partnered with CARS, a vehicle donation service who will pick up your vehicle and guide you through the tax receipt process. Unwanted cars, trucks, RVs, boats, and more can make SVA possible for deserving students. You may gift your unwanted vehicle online here or by calling (866) 398-4483.

Estate Gifts – One of the simplest and most common ways of making a planned gift is through a will. A bequest to the GHRoW Foundation in a will can take many forms including fixed dollar amounts, a specific asset or a percentage of an estate. Remembering the GHRoW Foundation in your estate planning may reduce your estate taxes while investing in the lives of deserving students at Shenandoah Valley Academy.

Be sure to consult with your personal tax, financial or legal advisors on how to best include the GHRoW Foundation in your estate planning.

You can read here about GHRoW’s beginning with four $10 donations. In honor of that beginning, SVA alumni have offered to match four times any $10 donation to GHRoW that is received from SVA alumni graduating in the last 15 years or who are SVA GHRoW scholars. And another group of alumni will match the resulting $50. So, $10 becomes $100 for today’s SVA students. A great return on your investment!
