After SVA’s Candlelight Concert, I ran into Kevin Guzman (SVA ’24). He thanked me again for his GHRoW scholarship—and then asked a simple question:
“How can I give back?”
Kevin shared how much being part of GHRoW meant to him and how he wants the next student to experience the same support, even now as a college student studying nursing.
That question captures the heart of GHRoW: supporting students financially and encouraging a community that pays it forward.
That’s why we created the $10 Challenge. Every $10 gift from a GHRoW scholar is matched by alumni and turned into $100 for new scholarships.
