2021 R Scott Handel Leadership Scholar – Kristiana.
The 12th Annual R. Scott Handel Leadership scholarship was awarded to sophomore class president, Kristiana Hoffman. Recognized for her leadership on and off campus, Kristiana, received $2,000 as part of this award. Kristiana’s parents and grandmother, along with the SVA principal (Don Short) and Vice Principal (Kaleb Leeper), were among the students present when the scholarship was presented on May 14th. As has become custom, Kristiana added her name plate to the scholarship plaque before returning it to its place in the lobby of Dale E. Twomley Hall at SVA.
