Earlier this month, after SVA’s Candlelight Concert, I ran into Kevin Guzman (SVA ’24). He thanked me again for his GHRoW scholarship—and then asked a question I didn’t expect:
“How can I give back?”
Kevin shared how much being part of GHRoW meant to him. Even now, as a college student studying nursing, he wants to stay connected and help the next student experience the same support.
That conversation reminded me why GHRoW exists—not just to provide scholarships, but to build a community that encourages students to pay it forward.
